Massachusetts Senator Brian Joyce is now at the center of an investigation involving the FBI and IRS.

7News spoke exclusively with the son of Joyce’s former dry cleaner, who claims the lawmaker took advantage of his father.

"After a while, you see people get away with things and you want them to be held accountable," Harry Richman said.

Richman said his father, the former owner of Woodlawn Cleaners in Randolph, was taken advantage of by the senator.

"He had a deal going with my dad where he was able to get free services for his dry-cleaning," Richman said.

Richman said what started as a small favor turned into more than a decade of free dry-cleaning.

"I think he definitely took advantage of a guy who was trusting," Richman said.

It is one of a long list of questionable actions the Senator has allegedly engaged in. He has defended the action by saying the dry-cleaning was in return for legal services, something the Richman’s deny.

"It was never a barter system," Richman said. "He did perform a couple of legal services for my father and he was paid for those. There was billing and he was paid for those."

Now, the Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance wants Joyce expelled from the Senate.

"When is enough enough?" Paul Craney, of the Mass. Fiscal Alliance, said. "It’s time for the Senate president to say to the rest of his body this behavior shouldn’t be permitted in this building."

While a state ethics committee continues to investigate, the senate president said he won’t force the lawmaker out of the office yet.

"We are taking this extremely seriously and we will cooperate with the authorities if anything is requested of the senate," Senate President Stanley Rosenberg said. "We will allow the due process that every American is entitled to play out."
