BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - The Plymouth County District Attorney says an 18-year-old has been brought in for questioning after his mother was found stabbed to death.
The incident happened on 34 Merritt Ave. in Brockton. The stabbing was allegedly witnessed by family members. Neighbor Maryanne Monteiro said the 18-year-old’s grandmother ran out of the house screaming for her to call 911.
“I knew it was something bad because she was wailing and screaming and she did say ‘911, 911,'” said Monteiro.
In a news conference Wednesday afternoon, the DA’s office said that the son was being questioned but has not been charged with a crime.
