Sneaky clouds got the best of us today – at least in some spots. Check out how sharp the cloud line was in the satellite picture:

Bold sun held on west of Westford, Northboro and Northbridge, but the onshore wind swept in cloud cover from that (now immense) ocean storm spinning south of Nova Scotia. Eventually, all of us will fall under that umbrella of clouds tonight, and there might even be some drizzle popping up from time to time.

Thanks to that onshore flow, we’ll have a major cloud issue on Saturday. I don’t see any sun, but I don’t see a complete washout either. Few sprinkles around from mid AM to mid afternoon, with steady rain holding off until late day. Granted, there isn’t a whole lot of dry weather tomorrow, it’s the best we can do…

…on that particular day. Sunday’s the polar opposite. Tons of sun, dry air and a brisk wind in the morning. Kim and I will be down on the Esplanade bright and early to help stomp out breast cancer at the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Walk. Stop in to cheer the walkers, celebrate with the survivors, remember those that passed, and offer support to those who have been diagnosed. Lot of feel-goods and remarkable stories to fill your Sunday morning.

Patriots game is just as clear as can be, but the temperatures will tumble in the evening. Plan on a light jacket and middle 50s at game time, upper 50s for tailgating. Put the grill on high and let ‘er rip!

Warmer weather seems to have the upper hand in the long range. A few chances ahead next week where we approach – or outright surpass  – 70 degrees.

Be safe and enjoy the weekend.
