Most of us have cell phones and smart-clocks that will get us through the "big change" tonight, without much thought… but for those of us that need a reminder: Daylight Saving Time begins tonight! Don’t forget to set those close FORWARD an hour before bed tonight. I mean, you wouldn’t want to be late to your Sunday morning plans, right?! Yes, we do lose an hour of sleep tonight – BUMMER – but we also gain an extra hour of daylight in the evenings (though, our mornings will be a little darker for now)! Here’s a look at sunset/sunrise times: 
This is just one more sign that spring is really starting to kick in. We’ve had beautiful weather to enjoy, flower buds are budding, and snow is nowhere to be found. This is very different from this time last year, but I don’t need to say that again. Spring arrives officially next Sunday – but it already feels as though it’s here. Is it too good to be true? I’m not ready to completely write off all winter weather just yet…
While tomorrow is almost a carbon-copy of today (add in an afternoon sea breeze knocking coastal temps down a little in the afternoon), next week starts of unsettled and much cooler than the past week or so. I’m sure you’ve seen all of the news on the flooding in the South this week – some of that rain is headed in our direction come Monday. However, we’re NOT expecting those wild rain totals here. All said and done, it should be around an inch of rain for most. But here’s the big kicker with this "rain" headed in our direction: Our temps will be much cooler for Monday and Tuesday – and some of this precip could be a wintry-mix for western and central Mass. on Monday. This will be something to watch.
So, the "big question" came up on Twitter today: "Is it safe to break out the patio furniture?" and also, "Can I put away the snow shovel?" I don’t want to be a jinx, so I’m not going to answer either of those questions outright. However, I will say that I brought out my patio furniture the other day – and then put it away again. I think I’m gonna wait another week to make that decision for myself. :c) – Breezy
