ATHOL, Mass. (WHDH) — There was a tense stand-off in Athol Wednesday night.
The SWAT team was called to a home on Chester Street.
According to police, an armed person was barricaded inside a home.
After a stand-off with officers, the situation came to a peaceful end.
The suspect was taken into custody.
There is no word yet on what charges the suspect will face.
