NORFOLK, MASS. (WHDH) - State Troopers were seen lending a helping hand on Saturday by assisting more than just drivers in the snow.

The troopers were attending a funeral for the mother of a detective in Norfolk.

During the service, they came together to carry a former Norwell Police Officer, who is confined to a wheel chair.

They picked him up and brought him down the graveside so he could say his goodbyes.
