BOSTON (WHDH) - A State Police trooper is recovering from minor injuries after a cruiser was hit by a car on I-93 south in Boston early Tuesday morning.
The crash happened near Exit 18 just before 2 a.m.
According to police, the other car, a 2010 Chevrolet Malibu, was traveling southbound and struck the rear of the cruiser.
The trooper suffered non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Tufts Medical Center.
The driver of the car, Lily G. Reid, 21 of Quincy, that hit the cruiser was determined to be impaired and was placed under arrest for operating under the influence of alcohol.
