BOSTON (AP) — Massachusetts State Police have arrested one of six fugitives who were recently added to its list of most wanted sex offenders.

Police announced Saturday that 58-year-old Reggie Ellenwood was arrested just before 7 p.m. Friday at the Pine Street Inn, a homeless shelter in Boston.

Ellenwood was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender. It’s unclear if he has retained a lawyer who could comment on his behalf.

Ellenwood was convicted in 1992 in Essex County on eight counts of rape of a child and six counts of indecent assault and battery.

Police are still searching for five fugitives who were added to the list on Friday.

Anyone with information about them or their whereabouts is asked to contact state police.
