According to Mass. State Police, officers are responding to the Charles River for a report of a body in the water.
The Suffolk County District Attorney’s office said the body of a man was recovered near the Hatch Memorial Shell.
The D.A. said preliminary evidence suggests this is not the body of Zachary Marr, a 22-year-old Harvard man who disappeared last month.
Detectives are working to identify the body with the help of the Chief Medical Examiner as well as the cause of death.
