State Police have issued a warning to first responders after a man posted threatening messages on Twitter.
According to a Boston Police report, the man went to Boston Police in Dorchester Thursday night to file a report after someone broke into his car.
That led to him to tweet out videos of the lobby of the police station with a vulgar comment about the police, but there were earlier posts about police as well.
The suspect directed some of his angry comments at ambulance crews and EMTs.
The suspect lives on Greenwich Street in Dorchester. Boston police interviewed him Thursday night.
Officer asked the man to step outside and he complied.
They asked if he was armed and the suspect said he was not.
“The suspect was asked why he was threatening to kill or harm police officers and he stated that it was his first amendment right to freedom of speech,” a Boston Police report said.
The man went on to claim police in the 1960s used fire engines and ambulances to harass minorities.
He said he has felt harassed by ambulances and fire engines.
Boston Police have not arrested the man.
