BOSTON (WHDH) - State police are warning first responders to watch out, after a man wrote a threatening message on Twitter.
State police said police officers as well as other first responders should be aware of the danger.
The suspect directed some of his comments at ambulance crews, according to police.
The suspect lives on Greenwich Street in Dorchester, and Boston police interviewed him Thursday night.
Boston police asked the man to step outside and he complied. They then asked if he was armed, and the suspect said no.
When asked why he was threatening first responders, the suspect told police it was his First Ammendment right to freedom of speech.
The man went on to claim police in the 1960s used fire engines and ambulances to harass minorities. He also said he has felt harassed by ambulances and fire engines himself.
Police have not arrested the man and he has not been identified, but he remains on their radar after his online threats.
