The new fitness competition "Strong" debuts tonight on NBC.
"Strong" strives to improve contestants’ fitness both mentally and physically, with the help of trainers who do more than just coach.
"He’s right there training with her. He’s right there competing with her. He’s winning and losing with her," explains host Gabrielle Reece.
In the show, ten women each pick an elite fitness trainer. The two then work together as a team in competitive challenges.
Recent Oscar nominee Sylvester Stallone is an executive producer for "Strong". He says better fitness is one element of the series, and becoming stronger mentally is just as important.
"You have to get to a point where you have just had it with yourself and say, you know what, I’m done. I’m going to start a new life," Stallone says.
