A geometry teacher in Alabama got help from his students to help him create the perfect marriage proposal to his girlfriend.

Bill Brock said his students got nosy after seeing him out with his girlfriend Dee Chalopatham a few months ago. When it came time for him to propose to his girlfriend of nine months, he asked for their help.

"I told them I was thinking about making her my hypothetical wife and they all said ‘Whoa…,"’ said Brock.

A few days before the proposal, Brock’s students got together at school to make a 60-foot banner that read "Marry me." The students then laid the banner out in front of Brock’s house. Brock is a pilot and as part of the proposal, he flew Chalopatham over his house to show her the banner. Chalopatham said yes after Brock offered her the ring while guiding the plane over the message.

Chalopatham later visited Brock’s geometry class to meet the students. She said the proposal made her feel special.
