If you plan to travel by air this holiday season, it's not too early to book your plane ticket.
According to a study by global travel search engine Skyscanner, next week is the most opportune time to buy flights for travel during the Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve holidays.
The study claims consumers can save 18.7% by booking Christmastime flights 19 weeks out. Booking New Year's Eve flights next week can save up to 14.4% on costs.
