(WHDH) — If you want your children to complete a task, you might want to dress them up as Batman.

A study in the journal “Child Development” suggests that younger children are more likely to try to complete repetitive tasks rather than play games if they’re dressed as Batman or another character.

By having them dress up, this supposedly helps them resist distractions.
