Wow, just wow!  How about the early March weather we had yesterday?  With high of 77 in Boston, we cruised past the record of 72 and it was the warmest day we’ve had so early in the season on record.  With tons of sun, it was about as nice as it gets around here.

While we’ve lost the clear skies this morning, we still hold on to the mild air with many towns starting the day off near 60 degrees.  Highs today run in the mid 60s to lower 70s with the warmest #s found across interior SE Mass. Temps cool into the 40s and 50s along the coast late in the day as winds turn onshore.  Occasionally this morning, a few sprinkles and passing showers roll through, but we’ll catch our dry hours too.  A better chance of showers rolls in this afternoon as rain becomes more widespread through the day.  Rain and fog rule the roost tonight as temps fall into the 40s.  Rain totals run 1/2"-1" by the time it wraps up.

Rain exits stage east early tomorrow morning with returning sun, a bit of a breeze and highs back into the 50s.

The weekend looks good with temps near 60!  Bright on Saturday and more clouds Sunday with a sea breeze keeping it cooler at the coast. Tee time set up?  It’ll start off near 32 on the courses Saturday morning, so I can’t rule out a frost delay, but overall, it’s a solid weekend.

Rain and an ocean wind prevails Monday.
