BOSTON (WHDH) - Construction work on the Sumner Tunnel is set to wrap up on schedule with nearly a third of the work completed, according to state highway officials.
This week 11 of 36 the Sumner Tunnel has been shut down on weekends, which has allowed the nearly 90-year-old tunnel to get some much-needed upgrades. The tunnel will be closed again this weekend.
