Very comfortable this morning as the air really dried out overnight. Temps in some locations..IE, Norwood….are running 15-20 degrees cooler (low 50s) than yesterday. This comfy morning transitions into a delightful late summer afternoon with temps in the low to mid 80s. Great day for golf, tennis as well as the beaches.

High Pressure is the reason for the sun and it’s here today & tomorrow. The issue with tomorrow though is the placement of that little blue H. It will be located south of New England tomorrow and that will set up a southwest flow. That means a hot day is on the way and humidity makes a return by late afternoon & evening. Temps should get close to 90.

The weekend is 2 days and it will be two seasons, Summer & Fall. Saturday is the hot/humid day with temps in the upper 80s. Sunday is the more comfortable day with afternoon temps in the 70s. When you go from 80s to 70s, most times some weather has to be involved and that’s no different this go around. It appears some scattered storms are likely late Saturday afternoon & evening. Most of the day is storm free–especially along the coast but after 4pm the thunderstorm threat goes up & is with us for about 5-6 hours. Sunshine is back with us on Sunday.
