WESTPORT, MASS. (WHDH) - Officials are warning people to stay out of the water Friday as Hurricane Erin passes by New England – but some surfers are jumping in looking to catch some big waves.
Dozens of surfers waves off Horseneck Beach Thursday despite the double red flag warning.
“I was preparing for it,” surfer Danny D’Onfro said. “They’re fun, the best waves we’ve had all summer. We never have waves like this.”
