WOBURN, MASS. (WHDH) - Police arrested a man Friday night in connection with a stabbing that left another man seriously injured in Woburn.

The stabbing happened in the parking lot of Jake and Joe’s restaurant on Mishawum Road late Thursday night. Police said the victim was stabbed in the upper body and was seen bleeding profusely. He was taken to Lahey Clinic with life-threatening injuries.

The suspect, who fled the scene on a motorcycle, was described by witnesses as wearing a shirt with a company logo. That information, along with surveillance video, led police to the suspect.

Police do not know what led to the stabbing. The suspect is being held on $50,000 cash bail and will be arraigned Monday.
