SUTTON, Mass. (AP) — Police say a man who called 911 was arrested when the 60-year-old woman with whom he was living was found beaten to death in her home.
Thomas O. Starefos has been charged with manslaughter and domestic assault and battery and will be arraigned in Uxbridge District Court.
It was not known Sunday if he's represented by a lawyer.
Worcester County District Attorney Joseph Early said Sutton police responded to a 911 call on Saturday night from Starefos. He was arrested at the scene.
No other details were immediately available.
