Two students from the University of Rochester were found safe Sunday night after police say they were abducted.

According to police, the two college seniors, Ani Okeke Ewo and Nicholas Kollia, were reported missing early Saturday morning around 2 a.m.

The students were rescued by a SWAT team that night around 6 p.m. in Rochester.

According to officials, both students are in the hospital recovering from their injuries but are expected to be okay.

One of the victims had a gunshot wound in his leg.

The safe return of the students has put the minds of their families, as well as the campus community, at ease.
