Recently, 7News reporter Kelli O’Hara and her husband traveled to Greece and Turkey on their honeymoon. O’Hara said it seemed that everywhere they went, the refugee crisis was talked about and seen.
On the Island of Symi, just three miles off the coast of Greece, O’Hara met several Syrian refugees fleeing their homeland by boat. O’Hara filmed their story on her iPhone as they told her all they wanted was a better life for their families.
