A terminally ill Texas man whose dying wish was to see the latest installment in the “Star Wars” series has died.

According to a post on his wife’s Facebook account, 31-year-old Daniel Fleetwood died in his sleep Tuesday morning at his home in Spring, Texas.

Fleetwood, a life-long “Star Wars” fan, hoped to see “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” before he passed.

The movie is not scheduled to be released until Dec. 18, but thanks to Disney Studios, Lucasfilm and director JJ Abrams, Fleetwood saw the movie last week.

Fleetwood’s wife Ashley posted on Facebook, “Daniel put up an amazing fight to the very end. He is now one with God and with the force. He passed in his sleep and in peace.”
