Temps have been running hot these past few days with many towns into the low 90s–heck, even Boston getting in on the fun lately but now the heat takes a bit of a backseat to the humidity. In fact, if anything, we’ll add even more humidity to the region over the next few days.
We did see a few scattered showers & storms last evening but they were not tied to a cool front so while it was a little cooler after the storms last night we have more heat & humidity on tap. Plan on more sunshine today & again tomorrow with temps in the mid & upper 80s with mugginess all over the place. In terms of showers & storms, I think we stay dry despite the heat & humidity as there is nothing to lift this air. Beach it!
By Friday, enter a cool front into New England. This front will be able to lift our warm & humid air and create some scattered showers/t-storms. It’s far from a washout–especially at the beaches but plan on a least a risk of some raindrops in New England Friday afternoon. The weekend offers similar weather as this front crawls through New England. Once again…no washouts either day but there will be the risk of a few scattered showers & storms Saturday & again Sunday.
In terms of when we break this humid pattern we will have to wait for another cool front to arrive during Tuesday of next week for relief! Until then, scroll through some of your old Facebook pics posted from this past winter–that should do the trick!
