After a couple of pretty dreary days, we finally have the sunshine back to kick off this Friday the 13th.  Despite the mostly clear start, we won’t be without clouds today.  Looks like partly cloudy skies for most with a slight chance of a spot shower during this afternoon.  To be clear, that’s just a SLIGHT chance of showers (20%).  Most of us will stay dry today and for those that do see the showers, they will be short lived and quick-moving.

The real theme of the day, along with the return of sunshine, will be the return of the wind.  It’s breezy and blustery for some this morning, and the winds will strengthen throughout today.  Winds will be out of the west, between 20-30 miles per hour with gusts up to 40mph possible.  That’s why there is a Wind Advisory for Cape Cod and the Islands from 1pm today through 7am tomorrow morning.

A slight boost in temps today will take highs into the mid 50s for most, but don’t get too used to it.  Tomorrow’s highs will top out in the upper 40s, and our blustery winds from the NW will make it feel like it’s closer to 40s.  It’s just a reminder from Mother Nature that we’re cruising through the month of November!  Hopefully the mostly sunny skies will help with the chilly, blustery feel on Saturday.

Winds will be lighter and temps will be milder on Sunday.  I know that we’ve been advertising a warm-up next week… and while I think it’s still there, it looks to me like it’s delayed a couple of days.  Low to mid 50s through the middle of the week, and then into the 60s on Thursday/Friday.  Enjoy your Friday!  GO PATS!
