A new survey has rated the most “magical” Massachusetts cities and towns for their light displays this holiday season.
According to onlyinyourstate.com, some select towns get more into the holiday spirit than others.
The survey named the top 12 cities and towns. Here are the top five:
1. Taunton
2. Somerville
3. Deerfield
4. Attleboro
5. Provincetown
Taunton is nicknamed the “Christmas City,” hosting an annual Lights On festival and parade, while Somerville hosts an Illumination Trolley Tour to see light displays around the city.
Boston did not top the list, though Springfield and several Cape Cod towns landed rankings.
