Folks, I can’t lie….I got nothing. We are locked down in a delightful pattern as high pressure continues to burn vacation days here in New England. Granted, the High Pressure is of Canadian descent and not Bermuda (Bermudan?) so warm air is lacking in this sun-sational pattern. Thankfully August sunshine is still strong enough to turn those cool mornings into mild afternoons so plan on temps taking off from the 50s early on & flirting with 80 later today….mid 70s at the beaches.

As we step toward tomorrow & beyond, High Pressure is still calling the shots but the wind flow around the High will be shoving cool ,moist air from Nova Scotia. This means you can plan on more clouds tomorrow and into the weekend. There will be the risk of some sprinkles in the Worcester Hills tomorrow afternoon but otherwise it’s dry again.

Friday & the weekend offer clouds & sun with most of the sun happening during the afternoon hours. Some patchy drizzle/mist is likely each of those mornings before 10am but it’s essentially a dry weekend. As for temps, we are cool until early next week with daytime highs in the low to mid 70s & overnight lows in the 50s.

Is summer kicked?! There are signs that next week–heading for Labor Day weekend—our pattern flips warmer & more humid as temps try and run up into the 80s. Understand with warmer & more humid air will come the chance of scattered t-storms. More on that next week.
