ROXBURY, MA (WHDH) — Three teens were rushed to the hospital late Monday night after a shooting in Roxbury.
The shooting happened as the Fourth of July festivities were winding down in Boston around 1 a.m. on JFK Boulevard.
Police said four people were sitting outside when someone came up to them and started firing.
A 14-year-old girl was taken to Children’s Hospital. She was shot once in the leg, twice in the arm, breaking both limbs.
A 17-year-old boy was taken to Brigham and Women’s Hospital and a 19-year-old woman was taken to Boston Medical Center.
EMS said one person was seriously hurt.
Police said all of the victims suffered non-life threatening injuries.
Police are now investigating, but said the incident is not random.
