Three schools placed on lockdown after search for suspects in Hanson

HANSON, MASS. (WHDH) - Authorities say three schools were placed on lockdown in Hanson following a police search for suspects in a home invasion.

McQuan School, Indian Head School, and Hanson Middle School were put into a Shelter in Place order on Thursday.

Police later said they were looking for four suspects in the area of Main Street, Liberty, and into Pembroke. Two suspects had been taken into custody, but one remains on the loose.

Police say they are continuing to search the area.
