Matchmaking app Tinder will soon be shutting off its service to those under 18 years of age.

According to a company statement, Tinder will enforce a new policy as early as next week that allows only those aged 18 years or older to sign into the dating app.

Currently, a user must be at least 13 years of age to access and use the app, which has two separate communities– one for those aged 13 to 17 and another for 18 and up.

Several dating brands belonging to Tinder’s parent company Match Group already enforce an adults-only restriction, including OkCupid and Match.com.
