TOPEKA, KANSAS (NBC) — A two-year-old child is dead after being attacked by a dog or dogs in Topeka, Kansas.
Piper Dunbar was found dead in the yard of her home by police on Friday.
Investigators say she was attacked by up to two dogs. They did not say if the dogs belonged to the family, or the breed of the animals.
They did say the public was in no danger because the attack happened inside the fence of the child’s home.
