BOSTON (WHDH) - Transit police say a New York man with active warrants was arrested late Tuesday night when he went to “relive himself” in a Green Line tunnel.

Officers responding to a report of a male walking in the tunnel at Symphony Station around 9:45 p.m. found the 21-year-old man, who claimed he needed to relieve himself, police said.

He was arrested when officers determined he had several active warrants, including one charge of assault and battery on a police officer.
