After plenty of clouds, drizzle and patchy light rain yesterday, the trend is to slowly improve our weather over the next few days.  Already this morning, we’re not waking up to nearly as much drizzle and light rain as we had yesterday.  If fact, looking out over the next 10 days, there are no major storms in our forecast and over the next 7-10 days, most towns likely don’t even pick up a total of 1/2" of in that stretch.

As for today, small improvements.  Temps warm into the mid to upper 50s under a mostly cloudy sky.  Although a few patches of drizzle or a sprinkle can’t be ruled out, much of the time is dry.  We’ll even see a few breaks in the overcast at times.  The wind won’t be quite as strong either, but still, gusts to 30mph will add to the chill.  Add a few more degrees onto that forecast, and that’s what we’ll experience on Monday.

While seas remain rough and large swells roll toward New England with rip currents along east and south facing shorelines mid-week, the brunt of impacts from Joaquin track well offshore.  As winds turn more north, then west, we’ll enjoy more sunshine starting Tuesday and Wednesday.  By Wednesday, we’ll near 70 with some sun!

In terms of rain, other than patchy drizzle, or sprinkle the next couple days, we’re on easy street through much of the week.  By Friday night, or Saturday, a batch of showers may swing on through, but it’s not a major storm.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
