Ok, you adjusting yet? Clocks went forward 1 hour and I’ll admit, when the alarm went off this morning, I hated the time change, but also admit, when it’s 7:00PM and it’s still somewhat light out, I’ll love the time change.
The sun sets at 6:42PM today and 7:42PM by the end of April. Also, by the end of April, the average high is 61 in Boston! Hard to believe that’s not that far off.
The trend is your friend, not just with the daylight later in the day, but the gradually increasing sun angle allows for the transition from Winter into Spring. This week, it’ll finally feel like we’re transitioning into Spring as highs actually run near the average for a change, in the 40s! We’ll even near 50 on Wednesday, although an active breeze may mask some of the warmth.
I don’t have much precipitation in the forecast over the next several days as we catch just a passing flurry or snow shower today, and just a touch of light rain near the South Coast of New England Tuesday evening.
The longer range pattern favors a storm sometime around next weekend. As of now, it looks like a bit of snow/mix over the rain to start the weekend. Plenty of time ahead to pin down those details as we get closer in.
