Hazy, hot and humid… triple H weather today for sure as highs near 90.  How many times have we said that this summer?  Not often as we’ve had a bunch of delightful air masses via Canada move in for much of the summer.

Just like past bursts of heat and humidity, this one won’t last long as a late-day/early evening cold front delivers another Canadian air mass to New England.  That front will spark a few scattered showers and storm late this afternoon and early this evening, but not all towns will see one.  If the garden and lawn looks thirsty now, chances are it’ll remain parched into the weekend.

It turns noticeably cooler tomorrow, but comfy overall with highs in the upper 70s.  The breeze is a bit feisty out of the northwest, so if you’re hitting the golf course, let’s hope those par 5s have the wind at your back.

The coolest of the upcoming days is Friday with highs hard pressed to get much above 70 at the coast.  Saturday looks great and Sunday looks ok overall, although, there may be a few late-day storms that pop by Sunday.  The better chance for showers and storms is on Labor Day itself.

Enjoy the summah weather.
