STOCKBRIDGE, MASS. (WHDH) - Massachusetts state police troopers cited a truck driver who was driving on a damaged wheel saying the dangerous drive could have “killed someone.”
A trooper noticed the makeshift attachment driving down a road in West Stockbridge over the weekend.
Officers said they were lucky to have spotted it before it flew off and caused serious damage.
The truck was ordered out of service.
Tpr. James Talbot from our Truck Team saw a truck driving on this wheel last weekend in West Stockbridge. Lucky we caught it before that makeshift attachment failed & the wheel flew off and killed someone. Tpr.
