A truck fire in Topsfield broke out right beneath the power lines.

The Topsfield Department of Public Works said the downed wires and fire are were responsible for a town-wide power outage.

Topsfield DPW told 7News that power had been restored via an alternate source, and National Grid was making repairs to damaged power lines.

They also said the fire had been extinguished

The scene happened off Bare Hill Road.

No word on what started the fire.
