BOSTON (WHDH) - A “Twitter chat” held by the city could bring forth some changes to Boston’s foot-traffic.

The chat was created so people could ask city officials their questions.

One person suggested closing Newbury, Hanover and Union streets in Boston to cars and trucks in the summertime.

The city responded that this is a thought they’ve had, and are looking into several spots in the city to do just that. They did not say what areas they are considering, and to stay tuned this summer.

Many people have sent tweets encouraging the city to take this up next year.
