A 10-year-old girl was given a pat-down by TSA agents at the Raleigh-Durham airport in North Carolina after they found a juice box in her carry-on.
The juice box was over the limit for liquid carry-ons, and led to a nearly two minute pat-down of the girl.
Her father says it was “inappropriate” and the agents were “over-reacting.”
TSA said in a statement that procedures allow for the pat-down of a child in some circumstances, and that this one followed those approved procedures.
