Twitter link triggers phone to call 911 repeatedly

BROWARD COUNTY, FLORIDA (WHDH) — Video blogger Andrea Jara is using her blog to warn Twitter users not to click on a specific link that triggers your phone to call 911 repeatedly.

Hara said she received a tweet with a link which she clicked on.

After clicking on the link her phone started incessantly called 911 and though she tried to end the call she couldn’t.

The 911 hack has gone viral with people all over Twitter warning others not to click on any weird links.

The hackers try to entice you to click on the link describing at a popular song or asking for support.
