Two men were hospitalized Sunday afternoon when they were hit by a car in Lowell.
The driver, and 81-year-old man, said he was unable to stop on the slippery roads.
The two men were crossing Gorham Street near the Spaghettiville Bridge when they were hit around 2 p.m.
One man said he didn’t see the vehicle coming, the other said he saw the car, but thought it was far enough away for them to cross safely.
Lowell police have said they do not expect to cite the driver.
