Two men have been arrested in connection with a series of car break-ins and arsons in Portsmouth, New Hamsphire.

Michael York, 24 of Goffstown, NH; and Adam Carlin, 23 of Dunbarton, NH; were arrested and charged with four counts of criminal liability for conduct of another — three counts as an accomplice to arson, and one count as as accomplice to theft.

An investigation began on Jan. 30, when a victim reported someone had entered her car and lit the inside contents of her car on fire.

Throughout the day, more reports came in from victims reporting car breaks and small fires inside their cars.

York and Carlin are considered accomplices to the crimes of arson and theft.

Bail was set at $3,000 for York and $2,500 for Carlin.

Both will return to court on April 4.

The case is still under investigation.
