Two capital murder suspects are on the run in Mississippi.
The Hinds County sheriff said 19-year-old Gerome Moore and 29-year-old Malcolm Landfair escaped during the night.
The duo was last seen around 4:00 a.m. Thursday morning during a head count inside Hinds County Detention Center.
“They must have done it after the first check because we had one person working that block at that time,” Hinds County Sheriff Victor Mason said.
Moore escaped last year from a downtown facility using bed sheets to climb out the window.
Two jailers were arrested for assisting.
