AMHERST, Mass. (WHDH) — The University of Massachusetts is canceling two on-campus concerts due to concerns about the use of ‘molly.’

The university recently canceled a performance by Return to Fantazia after several deaths were reportedly caused by the popular club drug.

"Unfortunately, the factors that led to cancellation of the Sept. 21 concert have not positively shifted. In fact, we have grown even more concerned about ongoing reports of overdoses at such events,” an email from the administration to students said.

An Oct. 4 performance by Above & Beyond and an Oct. 30 show by Pretty Lights are the two shows that have been canceled.
