The band U2 paid their respects to Paris Saturday following the city’s terror attacks.
They laid flowers at a memorial at the Bataclan Theater.
Lead singer Bono said that this attack is the first direct hit on music.
87 of the 129 people who died were in a theater while a rock band was playing a show.
U2 was supposed to play two concerts in Paris this weekend, but they were canceled after the French president called for three days of mourning across the country.
U2 says the band completely understands.
French authorities will decide when the band can reschedule their concerts.
