Uber is spreading holiday cheer for customers in Boston on Thursday.
As part of Uber’s “Five Days of Giving,” the app is offering the chance to have a special sweater sent to you.
The ride-sharing company is teaming up with holiday-themed apparel company “Tipsy Elves” to deliver a holiday staple in recent years: the ugly Christmas sweater.
The company says customers can receive up to two free Boston-themed ugly Christmas sweaters by entering “ELVESBOS16” to unlock the special “ELVES” option in the app.
From 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Thursday, selecting the “ELVES” option, or tapping the green button at the bottom of the updated Uber app, will send a request.
Uber says customers can choose from women’s medium and large sizes, or men’s large and extra-large sizes, and that only a limited number of sweaters is available.
