BOSTON (WHDH) - Sentencing day for a local labor union leader.
Mark Harrington was in federal court on Thursday.
The former “Teamsters Local 25” secretary-treasurer is charged with extortion.
Harrington allegedly threatened to shut down a “Top Chef” shoot in Boston when the TV crew didn’t hire union workers.
Thursday, prosecutors recommended he serve six months on house arrest.
Four other Teamsters are awaiting trial.
