The unmanned truck smashed into several cars which all belonged to one family.
The video captured the truck rolling down the hill, smashing into one car, and then taking out a second.
A few seconds later a waste management worker ran after it.
The family said their cars were totaled and the company has not reached out.
Police said the truck's brakes disengaged when the waste management worker stepped out to talk to someone.
