UPDATE: A teenager reported missing in western Massachusetts has been found safe, officials say.

According to the Town of Huntington’s Facebook page, 17-year-old Joshua West had been located, a week after Massachusetts State Police put out an alert for the teen on Feb. 19.

At the time, officials said he was last seen in Huntington three days prior, on Feb. 16.

HUNTINGTON, MASS. (WHDH) – State police are turning to the public for help as they search for a missing 17-year-old boy.

Joshua West was last seen in Huntington on Thursday, Feb. 16. He was wearing blue jeans, a red shirt, and a gray hoodie. Investigators do not believe he has his cellphone.
